Chuck Cappello | Founder

Richard “Chuck” Cappello Sr. purchased 495 Truck Center in 1989. Having owned and operated Cappello Trucking since 1964, he saw 495 Truck Center as the perfect companion business; it would provide parts and service to his already thriving fleet, as well as to other fleets in the community.
Together with his wife and sons, Chuck ran the business until 2003, when his family sadly lost him after a battle with prostate cancer. Chuck believed in honesty, integrity, hard work and accountability. He loved being surrounded by his family every day at work; that was his American Dream. Even when he was going through cancer treatments, he came to work virtually every day, always with a smile and would tell his family, “Business as usual.”

Jim & Kristen Cappello | Owners

Carrying on the family tradition, Jim and his wife, Kristen, purchased the business in 2015. They continue to carry on the values that Chuck instilled of honesty, integrity, hard work and accountability in their business.
Jim runs the service department and day to day operations in the garage. Together with his son, Anthony, and his team of mechanics he strives to provide the highest quality service at honest, fair prices.
Kristen runs the office, handling all of the behind the scenes stuff that keeps 495 Truck Center running like a well-oiled machine. Kristen’s background is in banking, and also came from a family of entrepreneurs.

When you call 495 Truck Center, the phone is still answered by a person and not a machine. That’s how my father always wanted things. He said to give professional, personal service. We want every customer to be happy with the service we provide.

Anthony Cappello

Continuing the family tradition at 495 Truck Center, Anthony Cappello joined his parents after graduation from Assabet Valley Technical School in 2015, where he majored in Auto Body and Collision. Anthony grew up much like his father, learning the values that “Papa” (Chuck) believed in, and learning the skills of the trade hands-on. Anthony assists in managing the Service Department as well as handling road service calls and providing top notch customer service.

Getting to work with my family every day is the greatest thing I could ever ask for.
